ACT & SAT Reading Preparation

ACT & SAT PreparationSpecialized Lab Add-On

Prepare the reader
behind the score.

Your test-prep program teaches what the exam asks. Reading Efficiency Score and the Accelerated Learning Lab help you read, understand and respond more efficiently when the clock is running.

A performance layer for your existing prep. This program complements ACT or SAT content instruction. It does not replace a full subject-matter course.

The overlooked performance gap

Knowing the answer is only part of the test.

Students can understand the material and still lose points when slow reading, repeated rereading or attention lapses consume the time they need to think.

01

You finish passages but lose the clock.

A single fixed reading pace makes dense sections drag and leaves less time for difficult questions.

03

Your practice score hides the cause.

A test score shows the outcome. Reading-performance data helps identify what may be slowing you down.

Choose your exam focus

One reading foundation. Two distinct test experiences.

Start with the same measurable reading baseline, then apply your training to the pacing and passage demands of your selected exam.

ACT Reading Performance Track

Move through longer passages with enough time left to reason.

Build controlled pace, focused evidence retrieval and reading stamina for the ACT’s English and Reading demands, with transferable support for students who also take Science.

Baseline first. Training second.

A prep path built around your performance.

Instead of guessing which reading habit is holding you back, begin with data and use each step to guide the next.

Inside the preparation add-on

Train the skills that sit underneath every passage.

The exam-focused add-on works alongside the broader Accelerated Learning Lab, connecting foundational reading development with targeted practice.

Explore the Accelerated Learning Lab

Adaptive pacing practice

Learn when to accelerate, when to slow down and how to protect accuracy across changing levels of difficulty.

Focused passage training

Practice with a purposeful mix of passage styles and reading tasks aligned with your selected test.

Regression reduction

Strengthen visual pacing and attention so unnecessary backtracking does not consume valuable time.

Comprehension control

Practice extracting main ideas, relationships and evidence without sacrificing meaning for raw speed.

Timed reading sprints

Build comfort with sustained focus and time awareness through short, repeatable training sessions.

Progress intelligence

Use reassessment data and your Intelligence Report to see what changed and what to work on next.

Your best approach
Use both together for knowledge, strategy and measurable reading performance.

Built for motivated students

Especially useful when you know you can do better—but the clock keeps getting in the way.

  • 01Students who regularly rush the final questions
  • 02Strong students whose practice results vary
  • 03Students who reread passages repeatedly

Preparing more than one student?

Bring measurable reading development to your cohort.

Schools, tutoring programs and college-access organizations can pair group assessment data with guided ACT or SAT reading-performance practice.

Questions, answered

Know what this program is—and what it isn’t.

Does this replace an ACT or SAT prep course?

No. It is designed to complement test-specific content review and strategy. The focus here is the reading performance you bring into that preparation.

Why do I begin with the Reading Efficiency Assessment?

Your baseline helps separate a general feeling of being “too slow” from measurable factors such as reading speed, comprehension, consistency and stamina.

Can I prepare for both exams?

Yes. The core reading foundation transfers across both exams. You can then focus your applied practice on the ACT, the SAT or a combination of both.

Is the goal simply to read as fast as possible?

No. The goal is flexible, efficient reading. You learn to change pace based on purpose and difficulty while protecting comprehension.

What happens after the Foundation Track?

You reassess, review your Reading Efficiency Intelligence Report and use the findings to guide continued Lab practice and your exam-focused add-on.
